RHIC POLARIMETER SCHEDULE

(1) p-p shutdown (Nov 26-29)

    o setup bldg.1012 (terminal, white board, coffee??)
    o 241Am installation    
    o hardware check
    o wire connection check
    o software debugging (DAQ, V124, online, offline)
    o Am calibration run (test) and establish procedures.
    
(2) p-p commissioning (Nov 29 - Dec 20)
 
   ** with stored protons (injection energy, 6 bunches, no-pol) **

    o continue hardware check and software debugging

    o find target with WFD online monitor.
      - target scan (establish the target center position, and
                     empty target position)
      - timing adjustment (with one bunch).

    o detector check with beam
      - strip by strip wave-form check with WFD (noise level check).
      - strip hit distribution.
      - strip by strip Amplitude and Timing distribution check
                     with offline tool.
      - cross talk check

   ** with 60 bunches, injection energy **
    o bunch distribution check     
    o cross section measurement
    o pedestal run for integrated ADC value
    o decide LUT for carbon locus
 
   ** with 60 bunches, accelerated protons **
    o bunch distribution check 
    o luminosity check
    o cross section measurement  
    o decide LUT for carbon locus
    o establish asymmetry measurement procedure 
    o deliver asymmetry info through V124

(3) p-p physics run (Dec 20 - Jan 24)
