List of issues to be resolved for RHIC Spin Plan

1. Minimum figure of merit:
	--200 GeV, direct photon (+jet)
	--200 GeV, transverse spin
	--500 GeV, W

2. Machine expectations using 2 proposed cases:
	--10 physics weeks of spin/year
	--5 physics weeks/year
	--development requirements toward goals

3. Machine improvements required to reach goals
	--vacuum improvements
	--adjustments to magnet positions
	--spin flipping
	--other? (source, AGS, stability crossing by crossing, ...)

4. Polarimetry issues
	--jet required each run? pC only?
	--jet compatibility with high luminosity

5. Phenix
	--muon trigger improvements for W--what and when?
	--vertex and nose cone upgrade proposals and relationship to
		spin plan (baseline or expanded plan?)
	--preferred start of 500 GeV?
	--longitudinal/transverse spin split and goals
	--plan for dealing with high luminosity (R=L_++/L_--;
		trigger rates, bandwidth, backgrounds, any crossing
		ambiguity, vertex, ...)

6. Star
	--status of barrel, endcap calorimeters?
	--W tracking improvements--what and when?
	--forward detector upgrade, relationship to spin plan
	--preferred start of 500 GeV?
	--longitudinal/transverse spin split and goals
	--plan for dealing with high luminosity (R=L_++/L_--;
		trigger rates, bandwidth, backgrounds, any crossing
		ambiguity, vertex, ...)
	--other upgrades?

7. Including other experiments
	--Brahms
	--pp2pp, physics with jet target
	--future new detector (Harris et al.)
