SLAC experiments E155 and E155x measured the spin-dependent structure functions g_1 and g_2 of the proton and deuteron. Polarized electrons of up to 50 GeV were scattered off polarized proton and deuteron targets. The scattered electrons were detected in three fixed angle spectrometers, covering a broad kinematic range. Recent results from the measurement of the Q^2 dependence of the proton and neutron structure function g_1, as well as precision measurements of the structure function g_2 of the proton and deuteron will be presented.
