Notes on Spin Discussion
------------------------

First we discussed next term.  Tuesday meetings are best, and 10 a.m. is
preferred.  We will meet next Tuesday at 10, and the next meeting will be
January 13.  We then made lists--Left Over/New, Revisit, Larger Issues.
Next week we will schedule several topics and discussion leaders.

Left Over and New Topics for Discussion

1. unfolding q/g distributions from data
2. RSC/Compass comparison, Delta G(x), Delta q(x), delta q(x,Q^2)
3. Can Delta s be measured at RHIC?
4. Improving estimates of expt. uncertainties at RHIC
5. What is known about Delta q,g, etc. from DIS?
6. Open charm and charmonium production at RHIC and its use in 
	polarization physics.
7. machine issues -- spin tracking, snakes, AGS studies
8. polarimetry update
9. Report on recent polarimeter studies at the AGS.

1. global parton distributions for the polarized case (Polarized "CTEQ")

It should be said that many of the ideas for topics came from Naohito Saito.
He also suggested that we consider a workshop format, perhaps under the
RIKEN-BNL Research Center.
